2025 SportsmEn’s Banquet Speakers and entertainment!

SAL Sberna, main speaker

Sal Sberna and his wife Kristi have been in ministry for over 40 years. Sal has pastored churches from 150 to 5,000, preached in Mexico, China, Africa, the Philippines and even went into North Korea.  Sal has fished from Alaska through the Florida Keys and has hunted throughout the southwest. Sal has a few likes and dislikes. He dislikes liver of any kind, food that should be eaten hot but is served cold, people who go slow in the fast lane, and anything mechanical (he had a mechanical bypass at birth so don’t ask him to fix anything). He loves the smell of the salt grass early in the morning as he throws his fly line to the first red fish; the annual spring fishing sale at Bass Pro Shop (gift cards accepted, thank you); the sound of the line peeling off his fly reel.... and he loves to sing (pray you are not present when he does). Currently Sal is trying fish more and work less.
